Privacy Policy
Effective July 21, 2026
This site, leadershipconvention.ca, is operated by the 2026 Vancouver Leadership Convention event team. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act.
What we collect
- Name and email address when you register interest, buy a ticket, or contact us.
- Registration details entered at checkout: agent code, level, upline MD, upline SMD, and the AMA date for new AMAs. Guests can enter N/A for the agent code.
- Mobile phone number when you opt in to text updates.
- Basic technical data, such as pages visited, used to keep the site working well. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To process registrations and deliver tickets.
- To assign seating and stage recognition, which follow registration details and timing.
- To send event updates, reminders, and sign in links you request.
- To answer questions sent to our support inbox.
Checkout with Eventbrite
Ticket purchases are processed by Eventbrite. Payment happens on their platform and we never see or store your card details. Eventbrite’s own privacy policy applies to the checkout. Registration details from your order flow back to the event team to run seating, recognition, and the leaderboards.
Leaderboards and recognition
Registrations are credited to the MD and SMD base picked at checkout, and base totals appear on team leaderboards. Names may appear in recognition moments such as awards and promotions at the event. If you would rather stay off recognition materials, email us and we will sort it out.
Photos and video at the event
The event is photographed and filmed, and attendees may appear in that material. Event photos may be processed to deliver your own photos to you during the event. Professional photo and video of each speaker is available after the event for a fee.
Text messages
Our text program sends event updates, ticket links, and day of event logistics from our toll free number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel. Reply HELP for help or email tickets@leadershipconvention.ca.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt in data and consent are never sold or shared with any third party.
Every marketing email we send identifies us as the sender and includes a working unsubscribe link. One click removes you from future sends. Transactional emails, such as receipts and ticket links, are sent only when you trigger them.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never share your contact details with third parties for their marketing.
- We never ask for passwords or payment details by text or email.
Keeping and protecting data
We keep registration data only as long as needed to run the event and meet legal requirements. Access is limited to the event team. Data is stored with providers that use encryption in transit and at rest.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion. Email tickets@leadershipconvention.ca and we will respond promptly.
